We care about your data. Here's exactly what we collect and what we do with it — written in plain English.

What we collect

• When you order: Name, email, shipping address, billing info, phone (optional), and what you bought.
• When you visit: Browser type, device, IP address, pages visited, referrer. Standard analytics.
• When you sign up for emails: Just your email. Anything else only if you tell us voluntarily.

Why we collect it

• To ship your order.
• To send order updates (shipping, delivery, returns).
• To send marketing emails (only if you opted in — every email has unsubscribe).
• To improve the store (what pages get traffic, what's converting).
• To prevent fraud.

Who we share it with

• Payment processor (Shopify Payments / Stripe) — billing info to process the order.
• Shipping partner — your shipping address to deliver.
• Email tool (e.g. Klaviyo) — email + order data, only if you signed up.
• That's it. We don't sell your data. We don't share with third-party advertisers.

Cookies

We use cookies for basic site function (cart, login), analytics, and retargeting ads. You can disable cookies in your browser — site will mostly still work, but cart memory will be limited.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete everything. Email hello@forgeandcarry.com with the subject "Data Request" — we respond within 7 days.

Minors

The site isn't intended for users under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
